Second group
“Fight”
I believe Memo says “fight” as the last word in the film because is one of the message that the author is sending to the world. During the film, Memo had one perception that the people of his town did not have and he fought for it. His father never trusted him about his theory that there was a better world out of Santa Ana. Tragically, his father had to die in order the door could get open to him. So, fight and believe in his dreams, was the first battle that Memo had to overcome.
The second one was not to be added as one more of people that are slave of the capitalism system. Like Lijun Zhou says “Is not just a fight, it is a notification that can awake people up”. Memo, after exploring the American dream, understood that the dream was no more than an illusion. He saw an opportunity in what he had learned from his father; and he adopted his background to become an independent thinker.
